I ordered a mantel and then had some second thoughts on the length of what I ordered. Decided a special size would be better. I reached out to customer service and they got right back with me. My order was getting ready to ship but since it was a standard size they would restock for a very small fee and then customize my new one. They were able to get it done and shipped within a week. Wish more businesses out there would follow their business practice.

Very easy to install and looks very nice. We opted for the jacobean distressed and it turned out amazing. Minor issue leveling related to the french cleat install. Nothing a small shim couldn't take care of. Overall very pleased

Love this mantle! It’s was hard to get it to lay flat against the brick fireplace, but you can’t tell. It is beautiful!! I was worried about the seams, but they are very hard to notice!!

I was expecting Oak that was aged from a old barn or some place not what I got. I put it up just because I had stone guys coming and had to have something there

We are severely disappointed with the mantel we received from Urbandi. We ordered the Distressed Mantel style (unstained). What we received is the Contemporary Mantel style they show on their website, with some scattered tooling to make it look "distressed". Fortunately, they did round the corners on the ends, which helps those small areas look "worn". But the edges of the entire length of the mantel, top, bottom, and back, are all a sharp 90 degree angle exactly like their Contemporay style (see the photo example.), not rounded like their Distressed model looks like on their website. The various spots of tooling, digging into the wood, I guess, to fulfill the distressed appearance, mostly look okay, except the two in the photos provided. They were obviously deeply dug into and the wood peeled back looking damaged, jagged, and splintered. It looks unacceptable. And those are on the top of the mantel!! We contemplated returning the mantel, but decided not to. This mantel replacement project has been a long time coming. The hassle of returning it and not feeling confident in getting the correct one in exchange deterred us. Instead we have hired a wood worker to make it look distressed everywhere and try to soften those two awful spots. We're wishing now we would have had that wood worker do the whole project from scratch for us.

Our Mantel is great. We also needed to make a beam and put a board across the top of the fireplace, and Urbandi was able to get me 2 mantel to make the beam and some extra boards for the fireplace so everything will match perfectly.

Incredible customer service! Didn’t have high expectations for a custom mantle given that the cost was so affordable compared to the others. Even cheaper than the molded plastic ones. But this is real wood and stained and shaped planks. Excellent quality for the price. It is gorgeous on our wall.

We are super happy with our mantel. This is 54L X 6H X 8D Jacobean Stain Distressed. The length is perfect with just a little space on both sides and the 8 inch depth is nice if you want to put frames, etc. on top. The markings are perfect. We have gray/dark brown floors so we might stain this a bit darker. It's hard to see colors well online but this has some really nice dark browns with some little spots of caramel/reddish but mostly dark brown. We're not sure the lighter spots go well with our floor coloring, but still thinking about whether to stain a little darker. I did add comments on my order requesting small knots and markings and they did a great job of matching the wood to my request. It is a beautiful mantel. We highly recommend it!!!

I was wanting a new mantle for our family room. Wanting something a bit different I searched the websites for a good company... Urbandi were great, so much choice, different widths, lengths, sizes etc. Delivery was about 3 weeks but that was due to the holidays.
