While the packing seemed fine, the shelves (both of them) were still a little beat up when they arrived; made all the more obvious with the solid black color. Lots of light colored lines and scuff marks. And then there's the smell. 48 hours after install and my room still smells like the metal supports. I'm not disappointed enough to try to return anything, but this is a solid "meh."

I have called customer service and they told me to write an email explaining the issue. I have written two emails to Urbandi and have not heard back from them. The shelves are the right size. However, the finish is rough. It is as though they just painted a board without sanding it first. For the price I expected a smooth finish, the shelves I received are far from smooth! It would have been nice if I had known they were rustic. My home is modern and I wanted a cabinet quality finish not a rough finish. Also, the color isn’t very even. I am disappointed!

Wayfair cannot compare! This handcrafted shelf has solid metal and wood components based on my specifications. I installed with my own metal drywall screws. I already got some compliments on my office!

3 of the 4 shelves purchased were perfect with somewhat easy installation. However the 4th one, had a defective anchor that made the shelf tip forward when mounting on the wall. Attempted to contact company about problem and possible fix. Ended up buying a “plate” to join at corner to help level it

For the price I would have expected a high quality finished product. Paint finish wasn’t great and edges were not crisp. Does my wife notice or anyone else probably not. In the classic car world it’s a 15 footer. Again I should have just bought my own lumber, bracket router jig and done it myself. 3 out of 5 stars.

The shelves came with 9 screws and 3 anchors. I wish there were 4 anchors. Aside from that, the shelves are as advertised. They were made after ordering and took 2+ weeks to arrive in Los Angeles.

As you can see in the pictures provided the holes drilled are not in line so the floating shelf could not be mounted level on the wall. This is a very nice solid wood shelf and I’m hopeful the replacement has no flaws. If all is well with replacement I plan to order a mantle from them.
Called customer service Julia was easy to work with they provide a RA at there cost and are going to send me another shelf.

all the shelfs had paid damage marks on them you need to have better Quality checks before a shelf leaves yr factory I can't be bothered to go through all the hassle to return them .I figured with the expensive price I paid I would have had better Quality

I tried buying cheaper floating shelves but they sagged as soon as I put them up so I ended up returning them. Decided to go with these shelves and they were well worth it! Solid wood quality (compared to the previous MDF ones I purchased) with strong rods. No sagging at all! One other reviewer noted that the shelf could’ve used another coat of paint and I noticed also some spots that could have been painted again. It would also be great if they could add a gloss option in the future. Otherwise really happy with the purchase and already recommended this company to family members!

The product came quickly and it was an inexpensive price… however, the hardware wasn’t with the product to install. I feel that since it came so fast, the attention to detail was also missing. The holes in the back where the bracket is, the holes are crooked and not lined up.

These Urbandi floating shelves are beautiful and built to last!
I made the mistake of purchasing a set of 3 floating shelves from a popular online retailer. While installing them, I realized that the installation system was poorly engineered and the individual shelves were hollow. I did not have great expectations for the durability of the product and I was right. Before long the shelves began to sag, the brackets coming away from the wall.
Enter the Urbandi product. The installation brackets are super-heavy-duty and the shelves are solid wood. The brackets are designed in such a way that you can likely drill directly into a wall stud no matter where the shelves are installed. And with a weight rating of 40lbs per stud, my wife and I can confidently display even gallery quality items with complete confidence!

These shelves look great and the solid wood feel is much better than the cheap hollow shelves advertised elsewhere. Installation was easy(after deciding on the exact layout).
The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars... the brackets that attach to the wall needed to be "adjusted" by placing in a vice and applying "slight pressure" to make the shelves sit level after being installed.

The white color goes well in many bathroom decors. The paint seemed light in some spots as if it needed an additional coat. Overall, it is durable and it will hold up to the constant movement of makeup products being moved on it. Setup with the anchors provided was a bit tough given that the plastic insert stripped as soon as I attempted to screw them in. The metal bar is also sharp, beware!
