Urbandi began with a single handmade mantel and grew from a simple idea: furniture should be made with real materials, real craftsmanship, and a real understanding of how people live.
Today, that same belief guides every piece we build in Ohio — from custom shelves and mantels to tables made to bring warmth and character into the home.
Made by skilled hands in our Ohio workshop, every Urbandi piece is built with care from start to finish.
We start close to home, selecting quality wood from trusted regional suppliers for its natural character.
We use certified and responsibly sourced materials, so the forests behind our work are cared for too.
What started with one handmade mantel has grown into a workshop built around one belief:
Furniture should feel personal, purposeful, and made to last.
We honor the wood, respect the process, and design pieces that feel at home in real spaces. As we have grown, we have paired skilled craftsmanship with modern production techniques to bring more precision to every piece without losing the hands-on care that makes it Urbandi.
Today, that philosophy guides everything we make — solid wood pieces built with intention.
Your home was not made from standard measurements, so your furniture should not be either. Every Urbandi piece is built to order, giving you the freedom to choose the size, finish, and details that fit your space best.
It is a more thoughtful way to build — one that gives our team the time to get the proportions, materials, and finish right from the start.
We source premium Appalachian hardwoods for their strength, character, and natural beauty — the kind of real wood that gives every piece its own story.
Every Urbandi piece is crafted in our Ohio workshop by skilled hands that care about the details you see, feel, and live with.
Centrally located in the Woodworking Triangle, known for its furniture industry. This region has a strong heritage in woodworking, craftsmanship and some of the best hardwoods grown in America.
We repurpose 75% of our production waste, including sawdust, giving more of each material a second life and honoring the wood we build with.
