This is our 2nd set of Urbandi shelves. First set was purchased and installed by our contractor in an updated bathroom in our last house and they were gorgeous. Ordered a different finish this time for new house and we had to install ourselves. Shelves were heavier than expected. Needed to reinstall to make sure they were attached to studs so they would not fall off wall. Look great now that they are securely installed.

Unfortunately, I didn’t love there shelves. The color was darker than I expected but also the finish looked more like a brown paint rather than a tinted stain that showed off the natural wood. It just didn’t fit the aesthetic I was hoping for. Also the order took a month and that was longer than expected.

The shelf itself is quite nice! I appreciate the craftsmanship and the end product is what we were hoping for.
However, I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the structural supports. I acknowledge it would add a bit to the overall price, but I would recommend a stronger wood to increase the overall strength and consumer confidence to utilize the floating shelf to its full ability.
Additionally, I might include instructions for when the studs line up the the outward shelf supports. I'm quite handy so was able to remedy with a couple of drywall plugs and creative problem solving, but the average homeowner probably would need to hire someone in this instance.
Overall, great product that could be excellent!

The shelves were super easy to install. The color was a little darker than I expected, but look great. The distressed look has quite a few embellishments. They made plenty of knicks and indentations. There are screw marks and other distressed markings in the shelves. My wife thought it was cool, so that is the main person to please.

Honestly I came across these shelves after having a terrible experience with West Elm floating shelves. The Urbandi shelves are easy to install and super sturdy. I live in earthquake land and I feel totally comfortable with them being sturdy and safe! Am thrilled with them. They are also just REALLY pretty!

These are OK...a bit more rustic than I expected. Also, nothing was predrilled, and had a tough time getting one of the wood brackets into the wall despite multiple attempts. As a result, one shelf is much sturdier than the other despite one being directly above the other and in the same studs. on the less sturdy shelf, it is as if the bracket itself is not straight enough to lie flat against the wall.

Overall the product is well built and attractive. I was disappointed that it took longer than anticipated to received. When I did receive it, the hardware was missing and I had to send an email to get resolved and wait even longer. The hardware should have been overnighted but was not even though I requested it. Additionally, there were no pre-drilled holes to mount the bracket.
