We received this heavy package that is destined for our home in North Carolina. it will be installed in four weeks when we are the next. I opened the tightly packed box to check for damage and saw none due in part to the styrofoam and other packaging material used to cushion the journey. The shelf material that I could see and touch was undamaged and beautiful in appearance and touch. We look forward to hanging them and will send photos when they are up. We just received the box which is going to NC to be installed. So I did not open the boxes but opened the top to check for physical shipping damage and saw none and I then taped the ends back up.

We got two of the Aged Oak 36 inch shelves for our kitchen remodel, and I am really happy with how they make this corner of the kitchen look! I wanted an area that was a little more open concept where we could put a few plants, our cookbooks, and maybe some frequently used and attractive cookware or glassware - I’m not necessarily done “styling” this area since we are still getting stuff moved back in, but the shelves are just what I was looking for.

Very disappointed in the poor quality. These shelves are not a true 54 inches but a few eighths more. We had to cut some off for them to fit. The pine was so soft that it nicked in a few places during install and we had to use wood glue and filler. It also bows slightly in the middle, so while it sits level it is not a truly flat surface. The brackets do not provide enough of a counter balance for the shelves to sit level safely. For such an expensive product I expected better. Would not recommend.

The level of quality of the shelves that arrived were below my expectations. The shelf bracket and how it slides in and out of the shelf are decent for the price point but the finish of these shelves wasn’t great. The clearcoat on the wood was very rough to the touch. I had to go back over the shelves with fine sandpaper to get it to a smoother finish which I shouldn’t have to do at this price.

the anchors that were included in the package were very poor quality, the screw would not go into them. this left multiple holes that I needed to replace. the mounting bracket was not spaced properly to hit studs in the wall so the anchors were needed and did not function. quality was ok but very overpriced for what I got. at his price point I expected more.

The actual shelves look great, however, I was not able to use wall studs to hang them and therefore had to use the wall anchors provided. These were of very poor quality and left 3 huge holes in my wall. When they didn’t work, I replaced them with simple ones I bought at Home Depot and had much better success. My recommendation would be to look into better quality screws and anchors in the future. Also, the lacquer on the shelves have a bad odor to it that is not fading much.

We are really happy with the quality of these shelves. We were able to choose the length and width and stain of the floating shelves. They are extremely sturdy and I feel confident they will hold a lot of weight. It took about 2 hours to install after watching video and reading directions so it wasn't too difficult. The length of ours took 2 people just for the initial hold . A smaller length would only require 1 person. We love it and would buy again.

Excellent quality wood, very sturdy steel bracket. I found the color that I received was not exactly like the one pictured however they do have an option for unfinished wood so you can stain them exactly how you wish. I’ll be going this route next time.
Overall the quality is very good and I don’t mind paying more for a good product that we will keep, use and live with for a long time. These shelves are stained with oil base finish which means that in the future you could strip them and re-finish to match a new decor if desired. Also the brackets are made of thick mild steel which makes them easy to drill your own holes if you need to mount them into a stud but the holes provided don't line up.

The shelf is nice but they sent screws and drywall anchors, but the screws don’t fit the drywall anchors. Now I’m stuck with one hole in my wall, and 2 drywall anchors that I can’t get out. And a shelf that’s still sitting on the floor

The shelf looks great however the included drywall anchors were totally useless and destroyed my wall leaving huge holes where they didn’t grip when the screws were driven in. Fortunately I had other anchors available and was able to cover up the massive holes the supplied anchors left behind. Tips for any future buyer use more but smaller standard anchors!
