Yes, all of our beams are hollow. This allows our mantels to be lightweight and affordable. Not to worry, our mantels are still sturdy and can support up to 75 pounds of weight.

Do your mantles have a protective finish?

Yes, all of our mantels are protected with polyurethane and are ready to be used. You can request your shelf not be treated with a protection finish by leaving a note in the "Special Instructions" section at checkout.
