The wood shelves are thick and heavy and well built. Nice edges and fits together nicely on the supplied mounting bracket. I had to sand and stain mine because I wanted them to be a little darker than the color they came with so far. I love the shelves. They are what I was looking for. Thank you so much!

Note that you will need to drill holes in the support brackets for install - this made it easier to target studs.
Also I would note that the shelves come stained but not sealed I think most buyers will be surprised by the surface on arrival. It’s as simple as waxing or in my case polyurethane.
I like that I was able to choose my installation holes and I actually prefer finishing it to my desired look. Will purchase more in the future.

These were supposed to be Walnut shelves. They are white pine stained. For $500, I could have made them myself. We are super disappointed. I will not purchase anything from your site again, and I will encourage others not to.

The shelves are too heavy for the support provided. There should be some sort of metal bracket to hold them in place. I’m still trying to figure out how to secure them to the wall and keep them level. They aren’t built exactly the size I expected (they’re more like 2 3/4” thick and 17 3/4” long). I don’t like that the edge of the face board is visible on the sides of the shelf. The stain takes to the edge differently and it just doesn’t look good. The stain has a very dull finish and the two shelves don’t really match. I’m just not very happy with this purchase, unfortunately.

This was a fun rainy day project.
Installed both shelves in about 2 hours. (I’m a perfectionist, measured multiple times).
Stud finder & an industry level are key tools for this, especially if you’re focused on accuracy. Never remove level until screws are in the wall. Also, a good drill with screw gun attachment for clean finish.
The shelves were exactly what I envisioned for the guest bathroom makeover. At a fraction of the cost of a contractor. Big Fan of DYI installation.

I ordered two of the Urbandi rustic floating shelves in aged oak for my home renovation. We're waiting on some custom wallpaper to come in before we can put them up. I'll add pictures when I do. We unboxed them and they look great! I love that they're 3" thick. I wanted something substantial and not cheap looking.

The only reason I gave it by four stars instead of five is that communication was a little spotty. The mantle was backordered and we had several conflicting emails about shipping. But all in all it was a great experience and I would definitely order from this company again.

I am an interior designer and I order these shelves for all of my projects. The shelves are beautiful, well made and easy to install. They have a very sturdy, full wood inserted bracket that holds up the shelving, unlike the weak lip system used to install the majority of other floating shelves. I highly recommend them.

Two of the four shelves we received were damaged. They were packed well, and the box was in perfect condition, so I have to assume they were packed and shipped as damage. I reached out and received a 25% discount on the two damaged pieces. If they had been being hung in a spot I couldn’t hide the damage, I would have been quite upset and would have wanted to return them. The shelves look nice once hung, and though they are pricey, they are less than most. I would likely repurchase from the company.

The Urbandi floating shelves are great. I ordered two just to see how I like them and promptly ordered two more. They were easy to install and the quality is good.
We used a table saw to cut a groove in them to drop a led light bar in for task lighting. They do custom orders so maybe would have them do that if I had it to do over.
The communication from the company is good and the price was fair. Overall, it was a positive experience to work with this company. ( My project is a sewing/art space.)

These shelves are the best thing going that I have found made to order. They have no issues, they are absolutely stunning! I like the fact that this company does not finish and polyurethane them, which allows you to protect them the way that you want. I prefer to use a hand rubbed wipe-on poly, which provides a very thin coat, even and beautiful result. This is the second order I've made through them, pricey but worth every penny.
