I have been searching all over for floating shelves from bigger name stores to local independent stores to Etsy. I’m so stoked I went with Urbandi. So far, everything went well from ordering to shipping and delivery. The package was extremely well packed, that was an adventure all on its own to unpack the shelves! Lol!
We haven’t had them installed yet but we cannot wait to see them up. I ordered three square floating shelves and two thick shelves to create an entertainment unit around the TV and stand.
We previously ordered a mantle which is on the fireplace next to where the shelves will be hung. We also ordered wall panel that will go all the way up to the vaulted ceiling at the stairway landing. We are anxious to see this all come together. I am so pleased with the quality of workmanship and stain color of the shelves, this will be stunning when everything is completed!
Thank you Urbandi for making such wonderful shelving! I shopped around for a while looking for something to do with this massive wall with a vaulted ceiling in our great room. These pieces are perfect complement to the mid-century modern/Scandi vibe I’m looking to achieve.
The photo will not do it justice, but I have put blue painters tape on the wall to measure out where the shelves will go. I hope I will be able to upload completed photos when it’s done.

Arrived cracked but we were willing to overlook that so we started to hang it.
It is SUPER difficult to mount this shelf using the useless instructions provided. You need pilot holes in the bracket but there were no instructions on how to drill them and match them up to the studs.
Also the bracket is almost 2” thick, yet they sent us 2.5” screws. How is a 2.5” screw supposed to go through the thick bracket and a standard layer of sheetrock, AND then go into the stud deeply enough to hold this heavy shelf? It doesn’t. The whole thing sags forward.
After wasting 4 hours of our lives trying to mount this thing, we gave up. It’s sitting on the floor and I’m dreaming of lighting it on fire lol

The shelves have a nice rustic look, and they’re real wood, not a composite. I would have preferred solid wood instead of hollow, but I knew that going in. I added a little whitewash over the aged barrel stain, so they match my decor perfectly.

Great Service. Quick delivery. Very nice shelves that look nice on the wall. In my opinion the wall cleats could be better. Made from soft pine which has a tendencay to warp or bow, as one of mine did - which makes it very hard to get the shelf level. Otherwise very happy.

I just love the rustic look of these shelves. The size is perfect my coffee bar. The depth is 8” which allows room to view the tile underneath. Customer service is fantastic. Answered my questions in a prompted manner. ☺️

Great price, excellent workmanship, solid shelf! Fast and protective shipping! The wooden bracket to hold up the shelve is good, but I added some metal corner brackets and mending plates to strengthen the wooden brackets. Make sure to screw the wooden bracket to the studs in your wall for a secure hold, especially if you plan to place heavier objects on the shelf.

These shelves were well made and came with a handmade wooden bracket frame that we attached to wall using our own large anchor bolts into studs then inserted shelve onto. Not sure why the supprt bracket was made out of wood not metal as shown in pics but it worked out well. Very sturdy. Natural white oak color finish that matched our white oak floor very well. 48"x3"x10" size would purchase again

Really misleading title and photos. The webpage says floating 'shelves' and all the photos show 2 shelves. We were expecting 2 shelves (particularly for the price) and were very disappointed at only getting one.

Had a little hiccup when I placed my first order (was canceled by Urbandi for no reason) but it was quickly resolved and replaced the order. Love the shelves ( 24x3x8). They came exactly as described except for the mounting hardware. Expected the metal bracket system but came with a wooden wall mount that didn’t have screws long enough for our needs so we bought new screws and all was good. They look rustic and fantastic and would order again!!

We ordered two 3" floating shelves. One was damaged during shipment. Julia from Urbandi responded very quickly to my email and sent us a UPS shipping label to send the damaged shelf back. She also immediately ordered a replacement shelf, which we received quickly.

Overall I thought the shelf was built very well and was easy to install. It was delivered securely in a box with safe packaging. The major issue was that the wrong color was sent. It also took a long time to arrive initially, so I didn't have time to exchange it because of the timeline of the project. So I had to sand the initial color off and add the right color

I sent you an email and you have not responded to my email. I want to return the shelves you sent me because they are too big. What I wanted was 12"X6" shelves instead of 24X6. I would like to return what you sent and have them replaced by the smaller ones and be reimbursed the diffetence in price. If you are willing to do that I would give a higher rating.

After seeing how these were put together and the hardware that was included (we ended up getting longer screws because the ones included sagged the shelf once on the brackets), my husband was upset at the price of these. The color matched our current wood in the house pretty well but the pieces aren’t sealed so any dust or debri that gets on them is going to be difficult to clean. He got a little dry wall dust on the bottom shelf during installation of the top shelf and it wouldn’t come off the finish of the shelf. The grain of the shelves is beautiful and I like the 3 inch thickness of them but that’s about it. We are going to make our own for going next to our fireplace.

I had this weird space between cabinets and this was ordered to use as a floating shelf. It is made from solid wood and stained with rich color. It is better made than my cabinets! I love it!
