Such amazing craftsmanship! Didn’t want it into the room too far so asked for 4” out instead of the usual 6”. Hanging the bracket went well after struggling to find the studs (went with 3 of them)behind tile wall. Once up and secure- that’s it- done. Center and gorgeous. Looks like it was always here!!!

The mitered corners were just OK. I was expecting them to be excellent and, instead, they are just OK. There are also a few dents in the wood that show up in the finish. This is unfortunate. The packaging was in good condition so I suspect that the dents occurred during assembly.

We bought the unfinished 6x8x8 white oak mantle, distressed it a bit, and stained it to match the wood in the room. It turned out beautifully! We love the great quality and craftsmanship, and especially liked the easy installation. We were mounting it into brick so had to use different hardware than it came with. And the cleat feature makes us feel more secure about it staying in place. Awesome product!

The mantel was “okay”. Far more whitewashed than in the pictures. And the top and bottom panels were made of multiple mismatched boards, which was very disruptive to the look. I ended up sanding and restaining the mantel to get to a more workable finish.

Wonderful quality mantle! I searched forever for a mantle to compliment our light floors and this one is the winner! Very easy to install. Be aware that you mount a strip of wood and should anchor them into studs. Beautiful finish and true to color, the white washed oak is gorgeous.

I ordered the white oak fireplace mantel (white-washed) and was super nervous it would be too white looking but it’s not at all! It’s the perfect light white oak wood tone, honestly it flows very well with my flooring, so huge plus I ordered the 84” 6Hx6D, I got it on sale but it’s pretty pricey even on sale..I figure you don’t go buying yourself a mantel all the time so I considered this a splurge
