The mantle I got was damaged. The corners were dented in due to poor packaging. They are sending me a replacement after I sent the damaged one back. I will update once the replacement shows up.

The mantel was “okay”. Far more whitewashed than in the pictures. And the top and bottom panels were made of multiple mismatched boards, which was very disruptive to the look. I ended up sanding and restaining the mantel to get to a more workable finish.

Wonderful quality mantle! I searched forever for a mantle to compliment our light floors and this one is the winner! Very easy to install. Be aware that you mount a strip of wood and should anchor them into studs. Beautiful finish and true to color, the white washed oak is gorgeous.

I heard about Urbandi from a friend and could not be more happy about my purchase! I ordered the white oak fireplace mantel (white-washed) and was super nervous it would be too white looking but it’s not at all! It’s the perfect light white oak wood tone, honestly it flows very well with my flooring, so huge plus I ordered the 84” 6Hx6D, I got it on sale but it’s pretty pricey even on sale..I figure you don’t go buying yourself a mantel all the time so I considered this a splurge

I ordered the unfinished oak (66in, 6 x 8in).
The mantle itself is beautiful, looks great. I will be finishing it in a clear wax.
The reason for 3 stars is I feel the wood wall support and screws are very inadequate to hold the weight of an 8 inch wide oak mantle. No way this would hold this weight long term.
The depth of the wood support is only 2 inches and the supplied screws are only about 2 1/4 inches. I bought much longer screws AND additional metal shelf support brackets which I installed either end inside the mantle.

Love this mantle. The white oak is beautiful and the perfect addition to separate fireplace and tv. It was very easy to install once I got screws long enough to go into studs. The mantle came with 2" screws and I needed
2 3/4 screws to go into studs. Other than that the whole experience was great.

Almost love it. The color is exactly what I was looking for.
However, the wood chosen for the front piece has a big dark mark in it, which makes the mantle look damaged. More care and consideration could have been put into choosing which pieces go where.
The edges look like they were mitered with a dull blade, as they are rough and filled in smooth with lacquer.

The mantel is decent quality for the price. I think the mounting bracket could be improved, but it works. The finish on the white oak is a bit too shiny for my taste, I’d prefer something more natural looking with a matte finish.
