Real hardwood, solid white oak shelves. Our shelves are 1.75" thick. Each shelf can hold up to 40lb per stud. Each shelf will be uniquely beautiful and will have its character. It is a finished product that is ready to be installed. Our shelves are made with attention to detail and undergo a scrupulous quality check. Warm tones of the natural white oak will add harmony and style. Those shelves are the perfect solution to add storage to your home. They are strong and can hold dishes and books. Installation

What you will get: Shelf, installation bracket, screws, and anchors.

To make the installation process effortless and quick, a customer will need: Tape measure, Stud finder, Pencil, Level, Drill.

Step 1: Stud installation is strongly recommended! Use a stud finder to locate studs, and lightly mark their location with a pencil.
Step 2: Once you determine where to hang your shelf, using a level, line up the mounting bracket on the wall. Use a pencil to mark the bracket's screw holes on the wall studs.
Step 4: Using provided screws, lightly screw the mounting bracket into the wall (do not screw completely). Using a level, check to make sure the mounting bracket is level, and fully screw the bracket into the wall.
Step 5: Line up the holes on the back of the shelf with the bracket extensions, and slide the shelf over them.

Care

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. To protect finish, avoid the use of harsh chemicals and household cleaners. Hardware may loosen over time. Periodically check that all connections are tight.

I noticed that the installation instructions showed the installer using a stud finder. That did not deter me even though I have wet plaster walls in an older home. Studs are not as consistent as they would be with a drywall type wall, and there is no "wiggle room" to find them and move the shelf accordingly as the installation was to have been between an upper kitchen cabinet and the wall. I have successfully mounted many things, including mirrors, on my walls. Yet this shelf is so heavy I don't dare try to mount it or put anything on it even if I use stronger toggle bolts. If the weight of the finished product (with the shelf and brackets together) was mentioned, I would have known not to purchase. I do appreciate the craftsmanship and wish I could use it.

Incredible Quality Shelves! They match our Oak Vanity and Farmhouse Bathroom perfectly. I would put these in any room in the house. My preference was mounting them with the J-Brackets. They are solid wood, very heavy and sturdy if installed properly. Stop your search, these are the ones!!
