These are the most perfect shelves for my coffee center! Just the length, width, and color I wanted. They are beautifully made with straight boards, flawless corners, and easy installation instructions. Very impressive! I had never installed floating shelves before and managed these pretty well, if I do say so myself. The only negative (and it’s very minor) was the strong odor of stain or varnish when I first unpacked the shelves. After letting them sit in the garage for a couple of days, the smell had dissipated and is now completely gone. I’m currently looking around my house to see where I can put more Urbandi shelves! Highly recommend!

Did not like that the corners were not dovetailed. Also the ends took up the stain differently and looked like there is a black strip on each shelf. They need to be dovetailed to look good and without that they look cheap and cheesy.

Shelves seem well built. I ordered 6 and two came with damaged corners. I picked this company over others because they advertised it would ship within 7-9 business days and I needed it fast. I also paid extra for expedited shipping. A month later, with zero tracking and being told it would ship Friday or Monday 3 weeks in a row I still didn’t have a shipped order. Didn’t bother returning the damaged shelves after the headache or just getting them delivered the first time. They did return my money for the expedited shipping though. Shelves are nice, but beware of the “estimated delivery” on their site if you are in a pinch for time.

It took 3 weeks to get the product. I planned on receiving 2 shelves because that is what is shown in the pictures and the item description uses the plural, “shelves”.
When I finally got the single shelf, it felt cheap. Definitely not worth $120. I’ll never buy from here again.

The shelves are great. The color is better than the website shows, it is not as dark but is a nice deep rich color. The shelves do have some roughness to them but it is not noticeable with my dim lighting. One also had a small nick at the edge but hard to see. Shipping took longer than expected but they did communicate about it after a week or so and that was great. I am happy and would buy from them again

I previously ordered a floating Mantel shelf and then ordered two floating shelves to match. The shelves match the mantle perfectly and look nice once installed. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the hardware provided. The mounting bracket is made of wood and is 2 inches thick. My drywall is 5/8" thick. If I used the 3 inch screws provided for installation I would only be 3/8" into the wood stud. This 3/8" stud depth cannot possibly support the weight of the shelves. I had to go out and buy 3 1/2" wood screws to have at least almost an inch of stud depth (could not find 4" wood screws at Home Depot or I would have used them). Urbandi should provide the proper length screw for a secure/safe installation - preferably 4" screws.

The shelf was just a block of wood, with nothing to hang it. You could buy it at Home Depot for a 16th of the cost. Tried to email support to return and never got a response. Biggest waste of money and terrible customer service.

The quality of the shelves are great - the mounting bracket is difficult to align with fastening to a framed wall that is conventionally spaced at 16" O.C. - using a plastic wall anchor is not efficient to support the shelf which makes it mandatory to attach to a wall stud. Placing the shelf exactly where you want is not possible if anchoring to a framed stud. The mounting bracket needs to be adjustable.

The marketing of the shelf description is very deceiving - the picture show two shelves and the description states "3" shelves" which is pluralized meaning more than one shelf. I ordered a quantity of one assuming I was receiving one set of two shelves. When I received my order one shelf was in the packaging. I went back to my order and when I went through all of the items describing my order it does state only one shelf, however unless you read everything the assumption is the order should contain a set of two. Very misleading.

The shelf was not sanded well before stain application, having very rough surfaces. I ended up having to sand it myself because it would have snagged material.
The stain was also VERY yellow, looking more like an 80s oak cabinet than an "aged oak" look. I haven't put it up because I've had to experiment with different stains to try to get it right. Lastly, the miter on the corners isn't great. Ill have to patch and sand before I do the final stain because the edges dont fit well together. For this price I expected A LOT better quality. I won't order from you again.

I’m honestly very disappointed with these shelves. For costing almost 400 bucks for two shelves, I expected the quality to be top notch. When in reality, it is just the opposite. For that much money I was thinking it would be a quality piece of solid wood, but instead you get nailed together pine with visible nail holes. Couldn’t even get a decent patch job.
One shelf even came cracked, I should have inspected as soon as I took delivery but I didn’t install the shelves until past the return window.
Would not recommend, this type of work can be done at home for a quarter of the price.

This is a beautiful shelf! It is exactly what I was looking for to display an heirloom sailing boat. The Jacobean stain is beautiful and compliments my other furniture nicely. It arrived on time and was packaged well. My only criticism is that my husband had to drill extra holes in order to hang it as their were no holes on top to secure it to the support. Other than that, I highly recommend it!

The shelves themselves are very nice, a little greasy from the stain but no biggie. My biggest issue is the bracket in the backs holes were all crooked so it made it very difficult to align the holes and anchors. Even after doing everything properly they’re not super solid but hopefully they don’t fall since we’re using them for our bar.

The wood shelves are thick and heavy and well built. Nice edges and fits together nicely on the supplied mounting bracket.
