The only reason I gave it by four stars instead of five is that communication was a little spotty. The mantle was backordered and we had several conflicting emails about shipping. But all in all it was a great experience and I would definitely order from this company again.

I am an interior designer and I order these shelves for all of my projects. The shelves are beautiful, well made and easy to install. They have a very sturdy, full wood inserted bracket that holds up the shelving, unlike the weak lip system used to install the majority of other floating shelves. I highly recommend them.

Two of the four shelves we received were damaged. They were packed well, and the box was in perfect condition, so I have to assume they were packed and shipped as damage. I reached out and received a 25% discount on the two damaged pieces. If they had been being hung in a spot I couldn’t hide the damage, I would have been quite upset and would have wanted to return them. The shelves look nice once hung, and though they are pricey, they are less than most. I would likely repurchase from the company.

The Urbandi floating shelves are great. I ordered two just to see how I like them and promptly ordered two more. They were easy to install and the quality is good.
We used a table saw to cut a groove in them to drop a led light bar in for task lighting. They do custom orders so maybe would have them do that if I had it to do over.
The communication from the company is good and the price was fair. Overall, it was a positive experience to work with this company. ( My project is a sewing/art space.)

These shelves are the best thing going that I have found made to order. They have no issues, they are absolutely stunning! I like the fact that this company does not finish and polyurethane them, which allows you to protect them the way that you want. I prefer to use a hand rubbed wipe-on poly, which provides a very thin coat, even and beautiful result. This is the second order I've made through them, pricey but worth every penny.

I sent the shelf back, not because there was anything wrong with it. The shelf itself was awesome, well made with oak and great color and craftsmanship. I sent it back partially my fault due to fact it was only one shelf for the price and i didn't read the full description. In all the pictures it shows two shelves, even when the shipping pictures update it shows two. I loved the shelves but for the price it was out of my budget to buy two of them. Customer service was great and I would definitely buy based on the quality and customer service but they where a little to expensive for one shelf.

Shelves looked great but the the supports used on the inside look cheap and are not straight. There are supposed to be pre drilled holes to hold the shelves on the supports but those are missing. Not enough screws for longer shelves. Now that I see how these are made I would use another company or build myself.

Ridiculous mounting steps, if im spending this much money the mounting hardware should be pre drilled (so i can install into studs? Theres not going to be 4 studs in 30 inches of space), and why didnt it come with enough screws if the directions recommend 8 screws per shelf, for a total of 16, you only gave me 10, at this price point i shouldn't have to go buy more hardware.

Easy to install. 54" floating blocking for 72" shelf. Instructions weren't clear but i'd recommend a top and bottom screw at each location so it doesn't have any tilt in it.

I love the look of it but because of the weight of the shelves on the handle pieces it almost impossible to get it sit flush and the shelves are inclined down. When I purchased I assumed it would be metal inside.
Also the two shelves were stacked on top of each other with no sponge buffer and when I was taking the first shelf out I damaged the second one visibly :/ be wary of that. Use two people to take the first shelf out. Do not drag it even a bit in the package.

Quick and accurate order. Instructions were straightforward as well. Only suggestion is to use heavier screws when attaching the bracket to the studs based on your own use for the shelf. We’re using ours in a laundry room so I chose thicker screws to hold up to the detergent and weight that the shelf may endure.
