It was my first experience installing floating shelves and I viewed the video on YouTube, which was very helpful! I opted purchasing 16 additional mollie bolts given studs are 16 inches apart and there was metal in my walls! Next time I will hire someone because the hardware for the large shelves was very heavy! I’m very pleased with the quality and look of the final product!

Nice shelves but little tricky on the installation. If one does not have the luck of hitting a stud, might need to use better anchors and/or shims to get a good fit.

The shelves are fine. The price is absurd (for pine?!!!) but it does have machining for the steel brackets (included) to make it a "floating" shelf so my bad for not researching that more thoroughly and likely why the cost is so high.
The problem with it is, the smell off the wood stain. My partner got a severe headache from the fumes. The two shelves I bought are going to have to be sealed if leaving them in a room we don't use with the window open for a few days does not work.
Zero stars for using such a high VOC stain/varnish/finish. If I could do it again, I'd get shelves with no stain and do it myself.

We received this heavy package that is destined for our home in North Carolina. it will be installed in four weeks when we are the next. I opened the tightly packed box to check for damage and saw none due in part to the styrofoam and other packaging material used to cushion the journey. The shelf material that I could see and touch was undamaged and beautiful in appearance and touch. We look forward to hanging them and will send photos when they are up. We just received the box which is going to NC to be installed. So I did not open the boxes but opened the top to check for physical shipping damage and saw none and I then taped the ends back up.

We got two of the Aged Oak 36 inch shelves for our kitchen remodel, and I am really happy with how they make this corner of the kitchen look! I wanted an area that was a little more open concept where we could put a few plants, our cookbooks, and maybe some frequently used and attractive cookware or glassware - I’m not necessarily done “styling” this area since we are still getting stuff moved back in, but the shelves are just what I was looking for.

I can't believe I spent this much money on a poorly designed item. We ended up making cardboard shims to keep the shelf from tipping forward. These brackets need to be redesigned, they do not keep the shelf level.
