After quite a bit of research, we landed on these shelves. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. The shelves are beautiful, solid, and easy to install. One of them did have a minor scratch on it, but I touched it up and you can't even see it. Overall, we are very impressed and love the way they look in our kitchen.

I ran across Urbandi through a Google search of Walnut Floating Shelves. The cost was reasonable, compared to several other brands, but the quality & workmanship is superior! The hardwood was included and is excellent!

These shelves are great looking and really finish out the space.
The reason this does not get a five star is because the included bracket is exactly sixteen inches. With sixteen inch on center studs this leaves 1/2 of a stud (which equates to two screws essentially) to affix the bracket on each end. Add 1/2 inch to each side of the bracket and then you don't have to use the included drywall anchors at all and we feel this would be more secure for the shelves in principal.

Shelves look great! A template would be awesome to help line up the holes for the brackets (I created my own with a piece of cardboard from the box). Unfortunately, there where (3) bracket styles in my order of (10) shelves. Ultimately, I am happy with the end result.

It is very obvious that these were made by hand with craftsmanship and care. Every detail was accounted for, and they were well packaged for safe arrival via mail. Installation was easy and I hung all three shelves in a couple hours. The steel reinforcement, when secured into the wall studs made these shelves surprisingly very sturdy and able to manage a reasonable amount of weight. We placed books and bottles of spirits on them, with no concerns that they will fail. These truly added a lot to our living space, and we are looking forward to enjoying them for years to come (and may order another one to install as a fireplace mantle). Order these shelves, you will not be disappointed!

After getting a ridiculous quote from our kitchen designer for two walnut floating shelves, we found Urbandi instead. They delivered an excellent product at literally 1/4 of the cost, within 10 days, that is at least as good a quality as what our designer was proposing.

I wanted a floating shelf to display my antique balance scale. I needed a shelf that could support the weight and be big enough and portional to the scale. I got a 12”x20” in the walnut. The shelf looks great and is well built( and heavy). Being only 20” wide I was able to use 2 studs at the ends of both brackets. Placed 2 screws at on each end and a coulpe of metal dry wall anchors on the top between the 2 ends. I had to shim the bottom of the bracket as the weight of the shelf and scale make the front sag a bit. I shimmed it so it sloped towards the wall a bit and under load it was perfectly level.

Love them! We did two 24 inch long by 10 inch depth shelves and two of the 12 inch by 10 inch shelves. My contractor did caulk them on bottom and top with clear silicone, they were a little wobbly with just the hanging hardware Urbandi provided. But the clear silicone fixed the issue. Totally fine to hold weight, just a little loose with just the hanging hardware.

Perfect sizing I needed to fill in and utilize the wall space! The shelves complement the overall look. Only negative is the wall anchor is not strong and broke even when pre-drilling.. I suggest to get a stronger wall anchor if you cannot locate the studs.

We just installed this beautiful shelf. It is a perfect place for our collection of wooden animals from Finland, stone carved animals from New Mexico and wooden folkart from Mexico. Installation was a little tough but it is a long shelf. I imagine the shorter the shelf the easier as this one is 6'6" long. But instructions of installing the bracket was clear and easy.

The were able to custom make 34" wide shelves for me. 36" would be too wide for my newly renovated pantry. I turned the closet in our kitchen into a coffee nook. Easy to order, love the 6 inch depth option as I will use this more for decor and small objects. Easy to install but helpful if there are 2 people and you are good with stud finder and drills. I had been considering walnut floating shelves from Ultra Shelf but these were a better match, the sample looked so solid, and price was better! Packaged securely. They did ship out later than expected (from when I ordered) but all worked out. We are very happy with them and would purchase again if we needed shelves.

Beautiful, solid wood shelves! Interestingly they weighed completely different from one another, probably having to do with the density of the wood. Installation was tricky only due to the metal prongs being at slightly different angles. This resulted in having to use screws to shim accordingly and take our time wrestling with the weight of the shelves and lining up the prongs with the pre-drilled holes. However, with patience, they are up and looking fantastic. Just need to stock up with glasses and pretty stuff.
