Mantle shipped quickly and without any issue in transit! It’s easy to install (we found studs luckily) and haven’t yet secured it down because we have painters coming and we will remove it to allow them to paint freely around it. It’s well-made and hardware is included. We have another fireplace to upgrade and we will definitely use Urbandi again.

my mantel arrived packaged very well and arrived in a timely manner. the only problem was that there were a couple of small areas that needed more stain. I texted with a Urbandi customer service representative who was very pleasant and helpful. She ( he) gave me the name and color of the stain and I was able to purchase a small container locally and touched-up where needed. It was a very satisfying experience dealing with Urbandi and I would recommend them.

Purchased two 48x5x5 mantle pieces to use as shelves next to our fireplace. I wanted chunky shelves that looked similar to our mantle on our stone fireplace; these did the job and I couldn’t be happier with how they came out. The product shipped very well packaged. Unfortunately the stain was not consistent in one area and the edges of the mantel did not meet up flush. I immediately sent pics. The customer service is absolutely above anything I have ever experienced. They responded immediately and offered a couple solutions. I would absolutely recommend this company. The mantel did not fit my vision and I did not care for the finished product, but this is a company that wants their customers to be happy, and will do whatever it takes to make that happen.

I found Urbandi's website by chance online and was pleasantly surprised to see that they are manufactured in my home state of Ohio. It's exactly the contemporary style I was looking for and was easy to install. I personally enjoy seeing the character of the wood in the grain and knots visible. My one critique would be that the internal brace that you attach to the wall is maybe 3-4 ft long but the mantel is just over 6 ft long. When you press on either end of the mantel, it does shift up/down. Other than that, very happy with the purchase and the outcome. It looks like it was always meant to be there.

This is a great alternative for a mantle if you do not want to mess with a heavy, full on piece of wood or beam. You must have some skills to install it. The only flaw was the mounting piece provided was beveled on each end causing it to rock a bit after you hang it. I just keep it centered where the fit was snug and its solid and stable. Highly recommend this product this product to anyone. Just make sure your experienced with installing household projects. If not, hire someone.

After refinishing our red brick fireplace we finally got to put up our beautiful Contemporary Mantle! It matched our floors perfectly. Except for a few nicks, that look like distress marks, I am very happy I went with the Contemporary Mantle. The only issue we did have is with the support piece you anchor to the wall being warped.
